Re: MergeBlocks and assoc array

Hi Jef,

What is your question?

> I need this mergeBlock, to delete when an array field is empty, otherwise i could have used MergeField.

You can use MergeField and catch if the data is empty using parameter "noerr" and "magnet" together on the first field. (see manul for parameter "magnet")

> If i want to use a MergeBlock, i have to do it like this ... which is a lot more cumbersome.

Is this available for you ? :
PHP:
$TBS->MergeBlock('nd', $nd);
OpenOffice:
[nd.post.bedrijf;block=...][nd.post.address]
just want to let you know, i process a calc template file with a table 3x1000, just 0,09 seconds to create the file. Amazing fast, if you ask me. At 10000 rows, i approach a second.

Re: How to show/hide part of document based on variable value?

Well, it's now a bit awkward - it just works now without a reasonable explanation.... I can't realy imagine what has changed since... Even the server hasn't been rebooted in the meantime.

When doing the small example for you I did test it numerous times on my server and it did not work. The both example outputs where also generated from the same template. Somehow if I use the same template file now, it gives me the expected results.

Well what can I say for the end... I'm sorry to have wasted your time. I'm really frustrated not to be able to know what actually went wrong the first couple of tries.

To everyone else reading, the next piece of code works if you want to show/hide a part of your template:
[onload;block=begin;when [var.category]=1]
This line should be shown, AND IT IS.
[onload;block=end]
Re: [fr] retour chariot si valeur

Bonjour,

Si ceux son des retour à la ligne par paragraphe :
Boîte postale : [blk.bp;magnet=text:p]
Si ceux sont des retours-chariots par saut de ligne simple, c'est plus embêtant car on ne pourra pas supprimer le texte qui se trouve avant le champ TBS.
Il faut faire :
[blk.bp;magnet=text:line-break;mtype=*m]
Salut,

Re: encapsulation problem with openoffice

hi Pupah,

The PHP snippet you've posted do not produce a correct data representation. After it is run, $mm contains only accounts names of the last contact, and $cc contains a resource id. But what ever, I think I have the idea of what you're trying to do.

In order to perform your encapsulation, you just have to use TBS sub-blocks. They are described in the online examples. Go and see here
http://www.tinybutstrong.com/examples.php
and choose the Sub-block Example. It works exactly the same way for HTML or OpenOffice, you just have to take in account that the row entity in an OO table is "table:table-row".

Assuming that the $contacts array contains records having an "id" column and an "mm" column. And that the mm column contains the records having a "name" column. Then you can build your template with a table [A] with:
[blk_cc.id;block=table:table-row;sub1=mm]
and a table [B] placed inside table A with:
[blk_cc_sub1.name;block=table:table-row]
(not tested)
